What is Muscle Testing

Your subconscious mind can express the difference between ‘yes’ and ‘no’, or the truth and a lie. When you’re being asked a question, an automatic, tiny electrical response occurs in the body that causes the muscles to be strong or weak. This is a well-known secret that police interrogators have used for a long time: polygraphs, or lie detectors, measure and graph these very involuntary responses that affect the muscle tone. Strength indicates truth, a yes answer or positivity. Weakness indicates a lie, a no answer or negativity.

This mechanism is an excellent, built-in tool for healing. Because it allows you to ask ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions of the subconscious mind, you can access information about your mental or physical health directly from the source: the great recordkeeper of all that we experience that is the subconscious.
